Solar Installation Supervisor
Pay Range $17 – $20 / hour based on experience
32-40 hours per week
Job Description:
- Advocate for Mesa Grande’s business interest in Tekamuk Energy
- Build a communications network with the employees of Tekamuk Energy
- Build a list of resources beneficial to the Tribe’s business Tekamuk Energy and ensure all employees are aware of and have access to those resources
- Encourage employee involvement in further education, continuing education, Technology and electrical science
- Understand, monitor and manage Solar installation crews according to best practices and approved policies and procedures and its objectives, rules and guidelines under local, state and federal safety laws
- Coordinate efforts with local solar companies to provide services to both on and off reservation clients
- Coordinate solar installation crew activities for various projects both on and off reservation
- Assist with planning solar installation projects and inspections
- Attend training and meetings with various agencies
- Complete and timely submit monthly activity report
- Provide a monthly written report of activities
Required Experience & Qualifications:
- Experience working with electrical science, electrical work, construction a plus
- Education or sufficient training in working with electricity
- Good writing and communication skills
- Familiarity with budgets a plus
- Must pass a background check
- Must adhere to drug-free workplace requirements
- Must agree to Tribal Code of Conduct and Confidentiality
