Mesa Grande Business Development Corporation

Business Development Corporation (BDC)

The Mesa Grande Band of Mission Indians established the Mesa Grande Business Development Corporation (MGBDC) for the purposes of developing and operating various tribal enterprises in order to generate revenue for the tribal community and tribal government. The MGBDC may create or acquire businesses, enter into contracts, and adopt its own policies and procedures to govern its operations.

The MGBDC is chartered by the tribe as an instrumentality of tribal government, and is governed by a five-person Board of Directors, three of whom are tribal members. All board members are appointed by the Mesa Grande General Council.
