Tribal Business Manager

Pay range dependent upon experience

25+ hours per week

 

Description:

  • Management of Tribal operations and facilities
  • Grant administration & reporting – BIA, EPA, HUD, IHS +
  • Policy development and enforcement
  • All aspects of Tribal Government and Enterprise Accounting
  • Working with independent auditors and preparing necessary schedules and reconciliations
  • Budget development and tracking
  • Hiring and management of staff
  • Communication with Tribal leaders and members

 

 

Required Experience & Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in Business Administration or related field, CPA preferred
  • Must possess expertise in financial accounting for Tribal Governments
  • Computer skills a must, Accounting/Quickbooks, Excel, Word
  • At least five years experience working directly in Tribal Government
  • Experience with youth & education
  • Excellent communication skills required
  • Must pass a background check
  • Must adhere to drug-free workplace requirements
  • Must agree to Tribal Code of Conduct and Confidentiality
