JOB OPPORTUNITIES – WORK CREW
Northern California Indian Development Council, Inc. is taking applications for storm damage repairs to be done around the Mesa Grande reservation. This will create temporary jobs for long term unemployed American Indians within California. The Dislocated Worker Grant (DWG) is designed to partner with tribes, and will determine eligibility, be the employer of record, and will coordinate with the work site and direct the crews in treatment of storm related damage repairs.
REQUIREMENTS
- MUST be unemployed for the past 27 weeks (Approx 7 months)
- MUST be 18 years of age or older
- MUST be able to provide a previous work history
- MUST be registered for Selective Service
